Our Approach

Value Added Engineering

We provide the highest possible service to our clients and our approach to every project – large or small – is the same. It is important to the company that it works closely with project stakeholders to thoroughly explore and understand the project and ensure that economic solutions are achieved which meet all of our clients’ requirements. Working closely with the entire team through all stages, from concept to completion, we aim to deliver projects that not only fully achieve our clients’ objectives, but are delivered on time and within budget.

A strength of the company is its commitment to teamwork both externally and internally. A director takes responsibility for each project and will have involvement throughout. They are assisted by regional directors or team leaders with responsibility over the design team delivering the project.

Our key principles:

  • Providing good communication and co-operation with all the key stakeholders (client, consultants and end users).
  • Providing practical engineering design solutions that are cost-effective and safe to build.
  • Effectively using design workshops, challenging assumptions and preconceived ideas to encourage lateral thinking and test proposed solutions.
  • Use of Rodgers Leask specialists to bring additional knowledge and experience at the earliest stage of decision-making process.
  • Providing value engineering as the project progresses, to ensure a cost-effective designs and solutions.
  • Establishing and monitoring agreed quality standards for engineering design and construction.
  • Identifying and managing key risks throughout the duration the project.
