Andy Leask is the company’s chairman after being managing director for most of its history.

He has been responsible for the design of hotel developments ranging from £2 million to £45 million, commercial schemes up to £20 million, and industrial developments in excess of £12 million. Many of these projects have involved difficult ground conditions often combined with environmental problems.

Andy keeps a keen eye on the technical aspects of projects undertaken by the company and constantly seeks to improve the quality of service provided, with particular emphasis on our IT infrastructure.

Paul joined Rodgers Leask as a graduate engineer in 1996. He established our London office in 1999 and, after working in the capital for two years, he returned to Derby as a senior project engineer. He is now a director.

Paul’s role includes running a dedicated team of engineers and CAD technicians, undertaking the structural design and detailing of institutional, industrial and commercial projects.

He has gained extensive experience in working alongside local authorities and major infrastructure organisations including Network Rail and London Underground, and in dealing with environmental and archaeological issues.


Lawrence joined Rodgers Leask in 1996 and became a director in 2009. Skilled in the management of multi-disciplinary teams, he is committed to developing strong, successful relationships with Middle East and UK partners.

His core skills lie in solving complex civil engineering problems ranging from foundation design and large-scale earthworks, through to specialised drainage solutions and site remediation strategies.

Lawrence is responsible for all Rodgers Leask’s UK work for the Ministry of Defence and British Telecom, for whom he has managed well over 400 projects across over 200 sites throughout the UK.

Stewart joined Rodgers Leask as a Senior Project Engineer in 2002 working in the environmental team. He became Divisional Director of the newly formed Rodgers Leask Environmental in 2005, prior to becoming a Director in 2010.

Stewart’s role includes managing a dedicated team of geo-environmental engineers and CAD technicians, undertaking desk studies, intrusive site investigation works, factual and interpretive reporting on all environmental and geotechnical issues for residential, industrial and commercial projects.

Stewart works closely with our structural, civils and land development teams to ensure cost effective practical solutions are identified and implemented. He has gained extensive experience liasing with clients, stakeholders and regulators to ensure consistent project delivery.

Kriston joined Rodgers Leask as a Graduate Engineer in 2000. In 2003 he was appointed as a Senior Project Engineer and tasked with assisting in the running of the infrastructure department. He was  appointed as Divisional Director in 2009 and Director in 2014.

Kriston runs a dedicated team of Engineers and CAD Technicians, undertaking the infrastructure design and detailing on residential, industrial and commercial projects from conceptual highway and drainage design strategies, planning approval, detailed design to technical approval and completion. He has extensive experience in dealing with Local Authorities and public utility companies.

Sean joined Rodgers Leask in 2015 and is a hydrogeologist and contaminated land expert with over 20 years experience in Brownfield site remediation and the management and reporting of geotechnical, geo-environmental and contaminated land projects.

He has proven ability in developing and delivering remediation solutions and brownfield redevelopment, hydrogeology, remediation of soil and groundwater, risk assessment, due diligence and compliance auditing, environmental impact assessment and tunnelling (NATM and TBM Technologies).

Sean currently heads the business development function across the Rodgers Leask group.
